APPROVAL OF THE SARASOTA ACCESS CONTROL GRANT PROPOSAL TO THE FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION FOR ELEMENTARY AND MIDDLE SCHOOLS
Description
DISCRETIONARY, NON-COMPETITIVE: Grant funds of $88,000.00 will focus on implementation of protective and preventive target hardening/access control security enhancements to benefit Booker Middle, Brookside Middle, Heron Creek Middle, Laurel Nokomis, McIntosh Middle, Pine View, Sarasota Middle, Venice Middle, Woodland Middle, Bay Haven School, Englewood Elementary, Gulf Gate Elementary, Phillippi Shores Elementary, Tatum Ridge Elementary and Venice Elementary Schools.
Recommendation
That the School Board of Sarasota County approve the Sarasota Access Control grant proposal.
